Research Infrastructure Committee
The Research Infrastructure Committee (RIC) is a sub-committee of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Research Committee. Its objective is to oversee development and implementation of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's institutional-level research infrastructure strategies to support the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in fulfilling its national role and mission.
Terms of reference
Specifically the role of the committee is to:
- oversee the development and implementation of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's institutional-level research infrastructure strategies to support the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø in fulfilling its national role and mission
- oversee the review and planning of current and future university research infrastructure capabilities and evaluate future strategic investment opportunities
- provide advice and make recommendations to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) on all matters related to research infrastructure
The Committee will provide regular reports on its work to the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Research Committee, raising issues, as necessary, for URC consideration.
