ANU staff are invited to join the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor for the 2022 State of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Address.

WHAT IS THE STATE OF THE UNIVERSITY ADDRESS?

The address is an opportunity for staff to hear from the Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor about their vision for ANU and the year ahead. In its seventh year, the address sets the scene for our future ambitions in connection to the ANU Strategic Plan and reflects on our recent challenges and achievements.

State of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø has become an important 51³Ô¹ÏÍø tradition, being one of the few times all ANU staff come together and is even more significant as we continue our year-long 75th anniversary celebrations.

After the address, attendees are invited to stay for a free BBQ lunch on the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Avenue Lawns. As a part of the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's commitment to reaching net-zero emissions by 2025, we would appreciate if you could bring your own plate or container to reduce waste.

2. Ensure you arrive 15 mins early to secure seating

3. Scan through Check-in CBR upon arrival

4. Keep your ticket handy to grab a free BBQ lunch after the event

We know the COVID-19 pandemic continues to present challenges - and we're committed to keeping everyone healthy and safe. COVID-19 restrictions and protocols will be in place to ensure you can enjoy this event, and if you can't join us, we will be sharing a streaming link via email to all attendees who have registered.

Accessible parking spaces are available around campus should you require them.

In case of rain, this event will proceed virtually and be live streamed.

The Canberra weather in February can be very hot, with high UV ratings. Please ensure you dress accordingly and come prepared with sunscreen and a water bottle.
