The Professor Rae Frances AM Honours Thesis Prize (in Australian Womens' and Gender History) recognises the best honours thesis in the School of History on a subject related to Australian Womens' or Gender topics.
The prize was established with generous support from colleagues, alumni, and friends on the occasion of Professor Frances's retirement in 2022. She and her partner, Professor Bruce Scates, also added to this endowment out of gratefulness for all those who made the prize possible and to ensure it's continuation through the years. The fund is currently open to ongoing and multiyear donations.
