Are you of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent and looking for challenging, rewarding, satisfying job opportunities? Have you considered working at the Australian National 51³Ô¹ÏÍø? If so you can submit an expression of interest by registering with the ANU Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Talent Register.

The Talent Register consists of a pool of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander candidates who expressed an interest in employment at the ANU. The Register is part of an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Employment Strategy that supports the ANU Reconciliation Action Plan and measures to improve access, participation and inclusion of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people.

After registering candidates will be contacted by the Senior Consultant, Indigenous Employment to confirm your details and find out more about you and the kind of employment opportunities you are looking for. Your details will be placed on the Talent Register and matched against all current positions. Alternatively local areas within the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø can contact the Senior Consultant, Indigenous Employment to find out if there are suitable candidates in the register for potential employment.

All candidates will go through an initial interview with the Senior Consultant, Indigenous Employment, to assess suitability for all advertised positions. This will also include a referee check. If suitable, the candidate will be referred to the contact officer for the position.

Registration onto the talent register does not guarantee you an offer of employment.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Talent Register you must:

• be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent.
• identify as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
• be accepted as an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander in the community in which you live or have lived.

Candidates should complete the online Expression of Interest form and attach a copy of their current Resume/CV with details of two current referees to indigenous.employment@anu.edu.au
